Description

I am a dedicated psychology Master’s graduate with a background in Sport and Exercise Psychology, currently pursuing a master’s degree. My academic and professional experience has equipped me with strong communication, empathy, and critical thinking skills, essential for supporting individuals in therapy-based environments.

With hands-on experience as a teaching assistant, I have worked closely with SEN children, providing one-on-one support to enhance their learning and communication skills. My role required me to adapt strategies based on individual needs, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. My time volunteering on a psychology ward in Ghana further solidified my cross-cultural communication abilities and my understanding of emotional regulation in diverse settings.

Additionally, my role as a receptionist in a medical center allowed me to develop excellent  organisational skills and gain proficiency with medical administration, including EMIS software. This experience makes me well-prepared to assist with the administrative and patient-facing responsibilities common in speech and language therapy settings.

I am passionate about using my background in psychology to collaborate with speech and language therapists, helping to support individuals in overcoming communication challenges and improving their overall well-being.
