An opportunity has arisen with our Client in North West London who is recruiting for a Band 6 Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to a permanent role.

Our client are recruiting for a Band 6 Speech & Language Therapist to work with students aged 11-18 in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) School. You’ll deliver interventions and a range of therapeutic and education programmes based on pupils’ individual needs. You’ll participate in regular assessments, progress reports, and appraisals, and contribute to overall school life with student supervision and safeguarding support.role 

Essential skills and experience: 

  • Qualified band 6 speech & language therapist 
  • HCPC registration 
  • Demonstrated experience working with children with SEN/SpLD IT literacy for clinical and administrative tasks Knowledge of relevant risk management, health and safety, and child protection practices 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team 

In addition, these skills and experiences are desirable, though not essential: 

  • Experience working in a school setting 
  • Ability to implement behaviour support strategies and structure clear care plans, based on best practice 
  • Ability to use knowledge to inform sound clinical judgements and decision-making for complex cases

  • Salary – £36,000 – £46,000 DOE
